My interest in houses began when I was very young, content to spend hours drawing dream dwellings with well-thought-out interiors.
At about the age of 17, I was introduced to real estate sales by my soon-to-be father-in-law and secured my Michigan sales license the following year.
A few years later my husband and I moved to Florida where I received my Florida license and volunteered for a community development program dedicated to helping low-income earners forge out a path to homeownership. During our nearly two decades there we worked as a very successful team managing a resort complex while also estimating and coordinating construction services for calamity-damaged homes. Florida was amazing, but our hearts always longed for the woods that we grew up in, so when the opportunity came to manage a 9,000-acre pristine hunt & fish club in the Pigeon River Forest area- we didn't hesitate. After 22 years of service, we recently re-located to Indian River where we now use all of that great experience to help others find their own perfect northern Michigan property. My focus is on integrity in both sales and listings while my husband Tim acts as an amazing (and humorous) assist utilizing his keen sense of direction, astounding driving skills, and at times his forestry degree for advisement on large tracts of land. We feel incredibly blessed to call Northern Michigan our home.
