Au Sable River, The Holy Waters, Exceptional Trout Fishing
The Au Sable River runs 138 miles east and west and is a major tributary to Lake Huron. It starts in Grayling and runs through Mio and enters Lake Huron in the town of Oscoda. It is considered one of the best brown trout fisheries and has a blue ribbon designation by the Michgan Departement of Natural Resourses.
